Web Lab 1

In Web Lab 1 we create – from scratch – a Web page called “firstweb.html.” If you were in class on the day we created that page, no problem. If you missed class that day and you are playing catch-up, then this document should be a help for you.

Method: Use a pure text editor such as Notepad (Windows) or TextWrangler (Mac) write all the source code for an HTML page.

Finished Product: Your Web page needs to include the following items:

  1. A list (ordered or unordered)
  2. A working hyperlink
  3. An image
  4. A 3×3 table that includes arguments such as bgcolor, border, and width
  5. A heading designated by h2 or h3 tags
  6. Normal paragraphs designated by paragraph tags
  7. Body bgcolor that does not make your text difficult to read
